After high-speed crash in Hillsboro; 2 dead, 1 injured

HILLSBORO, Ore. (KPTV) – Two youthful women were wiped out and something person was come to a healthcare facility following what Hillsboro police referred to as a “serious” crash Thursday evening.

The crash happened at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Northwest 185th Avenue, just south of Northeast Eider Court in the entrance from the Sunset Square Mall.

Hillsboro police stated a high-speed crash driver was southbound on NW 185th once they crashed right into a vehicle turning in the shopping mall. The automobile which was hit was severed and some of it burst into flames.

A couple within the vehicle which was hit were pronounced dead in the scene. Right before 12 p.m. on Friday, police identified the 2 individuals who died as 19-year-old Adriana Shelton, from Sheridan, and 20-year-old Aaliyah Shelton, from Beaverton. Police stated the youthful women were cousins.

One individual within the vehicle that caused the crash was come to a trauma center with serious injuries. Police stated someone else within the vehicle ran in the scene. A containment area was setup and Beaverton police found the scene having a Canine to discover the person but were not able to.

TriMet states throughout the closure, Line 52 to Beaverton Transit Center may have no plan to stops between NW 185th Avenue and NE Cornell Road and SW 185th and SE Edgeway Drive. To PCC Rock Creek, there won’t be any service at NW 185th and Master Road and also at NW 185th and McKinley School.
